Angry Snow Leopard in IP35 pro mobo problems-help please

Hi everyone. I'v been trying to get Snow Leopard installed for several days now and I'm getting no where.
Problem is I can't seem to get past booting the Snow Leopard dvd and getting to the installer.

I have a retail Snow Leopard 10.6.3 DVD that I purchased at Fry's. i have also tried Leo4All v3, iAtkos v7, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard (Final Retail) from torrent found on TPB. I'm downloading Kalyway right now to give that a shot.

I have tried with various boot loaders: iBoot-supported, Boot-132 (boot-kabyl-bumby.iso), and RebelEFI. I'm going to try EmpireEFI-1063 next (my install is hung up right now and I'm giving it some time to see if something happens before I try it).

I've gone through dozens of forums and web sites but haven't found any answers to my issue or a How-To for Hackint0sh on a IP35 Pro mobo. There are several how-to's for upgrades on that mobo from an existing OSX install but I can't even get OSX on there at all.

I have gone through the BIOS and set all the settings like most recommend and have tried a few different combinations:
    CPU Thermal Monitor - disabled
    CPU EIST Function - disabled
    SATA Raid/AHCI Mode - AHCI
    Onboard SATA/IDE Device - AHCI
    etc.

All of the OSX dvd's that I have except for the retail copy that I bought give me the APCI error.

    If i use...

...iBoot-supported + retail Leo copy with -v and -x flags it goes through several screens of kexts loading then several screens of initializations with hardware detections, mounting, etc. then it hangs with the the last five lines reading:
    systemShutdown false
    Previous Shutdown Cause: 3
    NVDANV50HAL loaded and registered
    DSMOS has arrived
    com_chucko_RealtekR1000: Ethernet address 00:50:8d:b#:99:bb

...iBoot-supported + retail Leo copy with no flags I get the grey screen with the Apple logo for a little while then the message that I have to restart my computer.

...iBoot-supported + retail Leo copy with -x -s -v flags it will go through the kexts loading screens, hardware and mounting stuff then I end up with a screen message that says:
if you wish to boot the system:
    exit

So, who out there is willing to be a pal and let me know how you got OSX installed on your IP35 motherboard?

    Here's some system specs:

    Abit IP35 Pro motherboard
    4 GB ram
GeForce 8600 GTS PCI-e video cards (there are two of them)
    SoundBlaster Audigy card
Two 300GB SATA drives and two 1TB SATA drives (each OS will use one of each-300GB for system and software, 1TB for user data)
    Philips CDRW/DVDRW-DL PATA drive
    Lite-On DVD Rom SATA

Gonna give the EmpireEFI-1063 boot loader a try in a little while if the machine continues to just sit there like it is. I'll let you know if that gave me any better results.

    Thanks all!

Well, after trying out various boot loaders I have found one that worked.
EmpireEFI-1063 along with the retail copy of Snow Leopard (the $30 upgrade one) installed well on my machine with the IP35 Pro motherboard.

I ran the Mac OS X 10.6.4 Combo Update and I ran MultiBeast after the install.
The PS2 ports stopped working after that and I still haven't go them working again (I haven't been trying too hard since I'm using USB keyboard and mouse). I did try installing the ApplePS2Controller.kext but that didn't help.
I also installed the NVEnabler via Multibeast and one of my dual head graphics cards is working great; running two monitors. Was hoping to have both of my NV cards working but I read somewhere that two 512Mb NV dual head cards won't work in a Hackintosh; they have to be 256Mb cards.... something about the 512Mb cards requireing some kind of patch. Oh well, maybe I'll dive into that later on.

Apple Software Update is working fine and hasn't caused any problems with any of my hardware.

Well, thats it for now. Maybe something here can help someone else.
