snow leopard install problem
I want to install snow leopard 10.6.2 computer but everytime i boot from dvd my computer restarts.
my specs are:
Asus m2n 68 am-se2
processor AMD II X2 245 2.9 Ghz
HDD 2x80 ATA
RAM 2gb 800 Mhz
graphics Nvidia 9500 gt 1GB
DVD Writer sata.
I think that dvd writer conflicts with drivers in dvd and it doesnt boot, but im not sure of that.
Regards!

Should post your chipsets, setup, distro/method used. DVD could be movie disc, and it won't boot. It's very hard to guess what's going on.

My chipset is nforce 630 and i used "hazzard intel amd" setup dvd. Dvd is bootable. It boots from dvd but it fails after trying to open setup and computer is restarted.

Yes, Hazard is a hybrid version, and sometimes it won't work with your SATA DVD. If feasible, try with IDE DVD to see, or use USB interface.
But if your HDD is IDE, then set your BIOS SATA option to IDE/comp mode and retry booting the DVD with your SATA DVD.

You should try 10.6 first then upgrade version latter if your system passes.
Because Mac do not use AMD processor, a lot of hack out there, looking
To it and try, what sys will WORK for U, the USB flash is the best way for hack
BEST,
