MODS PLEASE CHANGE TITLE TO HP MINI.*** sorry!!

Getting back into the hackintosh world.. Getting bored with the G5. So anyways, I got ahold of a hp mini 110 NetBook and installed snow leopard on it using this guide.

Got installed, but it didn't go the way the guide said. First of all, the guide seems to assume your using a 10.6.0 DVD, and I have a 10.6.3 retail DVD, so first wouldn't boot until I put legacy kernel on the root of the DVD USB stick.
Second, the wifi and sound don't work. But I can figure that out.

My question is this: there is NO /extra folder. There is a / extra.bat folder, but it's empty. I've never seen this before, and cant figure out where the extra folder is. Im sure it's there, because I installed chameleon on it, and rebooted, and got a fatal memory allocation halt. Leads me to believe its a case of conflicting boot loaders.

Is it better to use the netbookbootmaker or to install on my USB hard drive, boot the NetBook, then install osx onto the netbooks hard drive, use the myhack software, and go from there?

Any responses other than " shouldn't have gotten a NetBook" will be appreciated !
