Cannot mount File Systems other than HFS+
Hi there, I've used Snow Leopard 10.6.2 Mac OSX SSE2/SSE3 INTEL/AMD-Hazard on my SAMSUNG Q320. Selected Combo 10.6.1 and combo 10.6.2.
It installs, Video card is used at the maximum resolution. But Snow can only mount the HAZARD DVD. I understand that it cannot recognize DOS/FAT, Joliet, ISO9660, NTFS. I can only mount the Hazard DVD itself.
Having no Ethernet, nor Wifi working, I cannot customize the system with external kexts.
As I cannot see any option, at installation run time, to install or not the support to any File system, I'm asking the community whether there's some trick to make a working Snow recognize other file systems.
P.S. Snow cannot mount neither from the CD drive nor from any usb key, and I know USB is working properly.
So friends, any suggestion?
Thanks to anyone, in advance

Hi,
It seems like there are quite a few things missing.
OSX should be able to read/wrire DOS/FAT without any problem.
It should read NTFS as well, but to write would need adtl. utility.
Cheers

I tried installing this distro on my AMD rig, but every time it booted with the DVD then after a few lines it will reboot the machines. I've already tried booting with several paramaters like -x for example but still the same. My machine is Phenom II X2 wth Asus M4a78t-e and 4gb of ram. My hdd & dvd are sata. My graphic is HD 4850.
Pls advise. thanks
