    Motherboard AsRock P4VM890
    Motherboard Chipset
    NorthBridge VIA P4M890

    Hi there,

    What error message is it?
You can boot with -v for verbose.

    Cheers,

    Hi,
KP is very hard to tell sometimes without enough information.
But just a quick suggestion that your CPU may need the legacy kernel to work, and in 32 bit mode only if it does not have EMT64.
So you may have to recheck your customization.

    Cheers,

    Hi,
Here is a link to some of the board/chipsets.
Maybe you can look in the computer make and model to see if there is something similar to yours to pick customization for your system.

    Category:Compatibility - OSx86

Look under 10.6. 10.6.1 10.6.2 to see if they have your chipsets/cpu.

    Good luck.
