i fugured out.. the loss of the being able to see my flashdrive IS from your patched empire disk. after i used that one to boot up initially.. i shutdown and tried the original empire.. to my amazement.. it worked.. and i could see my flash drive and everything.. i'll try the chamilian form this original disk first.. then tomorrow after my first class. i'll try it with yours if it doesn't work (i'm guessing since the empire disks are differant, they contain differant copies of chamilian (which i can't seem to spell.))

Nekrose, i'm not the same user but have the same computer, it has a Turion 64 X2 procesor, its SS3 capable, i've got a snow leopard dvd, user version i think, tryed to run the install with empire efi and rebel efi with similar results, trying a booting install, it loads the efi disks, and recognises the snowleopard dvd, but when its about to start the instalation, it reboots the machine and starts again booting to windows, then i tryed with a virtual machine, oracle virtualbox, with the empire efi it starts loading the iso of sl, but it stops when doing the cache, and after a while the vm window goes black, with the rebel efi i get to a grey screen with the apple logo, and it does nothing more.
