Can Snow Leopard run on my Laptop from a Seagate 500GB External HD?

While I don’t have much knowledge on HP and SL, I know you can run SL via external HDD on Dell. Hope some HP users can contribute.

Yes, I agree.
Should be able to without much trouble, if any.
Also, it depends on how you want to approach it as retail method is better but more involved than distro releases.
