Now I'm able too boot without using Empire EFI, but for some reason I can't get Ethernet ports, WiFI or Audio to work.

That wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for the fact that my DVD drive only worked until I installed the iHack mod from Empire EFI.

Help, what on earth can I do to get my DVD drive back and working? I really need that in order to copy kexts, kext helper and so forth.

The DVD-drive is probably dating back from around 100 B.C, and has a P-ATA interface.

I got ethernet to work after some trying and failing. Yay!

Had to go to network under System Preferences and it popped up and just.. worked.

I feel like a tit for not trying that before trying all sort of terminal mumbo-jumbo to get it working.

Here's to hoping that having a working internet connection on the SL box will help me solve the other problems.
