    Default Shuttle SG45H7 [Updated]

2-fold problem: Seems nobody else is using this particular mode of Shuttle, either. So, without further ado.

    Problem 1:
Solved. Didn't RTFM far enough. Reading early on I was under the assumption the install portion should be picking up the NIC. Not an issue.

    Problem 2:
Not all that much of a problem, but...
Continued on w/ the install. I updated w/ the 10.6.4 Combo DMG file. It ran fan. At the reboot screen, as per the install, I ran Multibeast. When I ticked Easy Beast & System Utilities, and then clicked next Installer crashed. The previous instance (which installed the update) of course went down, and any subsequent instance of the Multibeast Installer will also crash.

I read a separate guide, and it says to open Multibeast (and let it sit in the background) before updating the system. So, maybe that was it. I ran Multibeast after a reboot and it worked fine. Got another issue though, but that's for another thread.
