Got one of these little netbooks for University and would very much like to get OS X up and running on it.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction for a relevant Distro that would work and notes on installing it?

As we've had no answer so far - I'm going to go ahead and experiment with a Retail Copy of Snow Leopard and some other resources I've found (for earlier Samsung Models and netbooks) - see what I come up with!

Got absolutely nowhere so far - following the guide on here: NetbookInstaller 2: USB Mac Installation via Any Operating System | Guides | OS X | mechdrew

I get as far as selecting the Install DVD which I have on an external USB (due to the machine having no DVD drive itself) - then when I ask it to boot into it - I get a grey screen - and nothing else.

Tried booting into Verbose mode - I get 6 lines of text - ending with "patching kernel 'mach_kernel" - and it just sits there at that point doing nothing.

Using the original Retail DVD without any addons - any thoughts?

I am a Samsung N150 owner and have Mac OSX running almost flawlessly.
Major issues include:
-800x600 resolution because of Graphics card compatibility issues
-wifi does not work: Experimenting with fixing this issue
Minor issues include:
-Photo Booth won't run because of Graphics card compatibility issues
-Boot Camp does not run

If you would like to know how to install WORKING MAC on Samsung N150 Netbook, reply to this post and I will give step by step instructions on what you can do to get it working up to the point I got mine working at.

Any support on getting OSX on a samsung n150 netbook would be greatly appreciated.

It would be lovely (and a huge relief) to get OSX up and running on my samsung n150 plus...please do post, if you know how to make it work.

Questions: would it be easier to install Leopard instead of Snow Leopard? I think I'd actually prefer 10.5 on my netbook as lots of things were much simpler to run with that OS. Also, I thought Melkort's NetbookIntaller 0.8.5 Preview was supposed to address graphics card incompatability issues? Could be wrong there though.

So before I listed the issues I had with running mac on my samsung: graphics card driver issue and wireless card driver issue. But if you still want to install mac on your machine here are the steps.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
-Samsung N150 Netbook
-iAtkos 10.5.7 ISO image (can be downloaded via torrent)
-External CD drive
-Time

PREPARE FOR INSTALLATION
1. Burn the ISO image of iAtkos 10.5.7 to a DVD making sure that you use an actual ISO image burner and depending on what burning software you use, make sure that it is burned as a bootable DVD.

BOOT INTO IATKOS
2. Insert the DVD into your external CD drive, and reboot your computer.
3. When you see the "Samsung" screen, hit "ESC" multiple times until you see the boot select menu. Select to boot from your external DVD drive.
4. When the DVD has booted and you get a black window that says something like "Hit any key to boot", instead hit "F8" and type the following.

Unless i am blind or my ipad does not want to finish loading your post, but type the following.... What? It goes blank after that, for me at least.
