Default Rebel EFI boot without cd?

I used rebel efi to install osx 10.6.3. Whenever I boot without cd, i get the black screen with the blinking _ and nothing happens. When I boot with cd, it allows me to boot from my hdd into osx. is there anyway for me to boot without the cd?

Have you installed Chameleon/bootloader on your SL partition?

No. Should I? And if so, a little info would be appreciated. Thank you.

Well, you should, one way or the other.
OSX, as any OS, would need its boot loader installed.
So however you want to do it.
Chameleon should be a good choice.
