Quicktime X question
Hi all,
I have been rendering Quicktime Movies in AfterEffects using various codecs & playing them back via several methods on my Hackintosh build.
Clicking spacebar on the desktop opens the rendered movie & plays fine.
Importing the movie into Keynote also works fine.
However, when I click on the movie & open it in quicktime x, it plays for few seconds, then freezes. It also seems to effect the system in general, with all performance back at the desktop being sluggish until I reboot.
Has anyone had experience with this "feature"?
My MacBookPro laptops don't do this.
I've tried using Disk Utility to repair permissions. Also have deleted my Extras folder and re-run Custom Beast created by tonymacx86.
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
Here are my build details:
Mobo: Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4x4GB
Graphics: ATD Radeon Gigabyte HD 6870 1GN GDDR5
System Drive: OCZ 240GB SSD
Storage Drive: Seagate Barracuda 3.5" 1TB 7200 RPM ST310005N1A1AS-RK
PCIe Card: Vantec 2+1 Firewire 800/400 PCIe Combo Host Card
Power Supply: PC Power & Cooling Silencer 760W
Thanks!
