hey i have currently installed Mac OS X on my Virtual machine using the Darwin ISO. but the current version is 10.0 and i would like to update it to the latest (10.6.7) version. but every time i install an update, the OS will not boot but instead get stuck at the apple logo screen.
Could someone help me with this

Dell XPS 17
Intel i7- 2820QM
8 GB RAM
Using VMware Workstation 7.1
