I've got an Acer Aspire 5739G and i've been having lots of problems at the time of installing hackintosh. I have tried to do it with the retail DVD of Snow Leopard and no way, tried it then with iAtkos v7 and no way too. The only way i have managed to run it, its running on safe mode on both occasions.

Sometimes the problem has been due to a message like this "Still waiting for root device". Another time has been due to "Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPS2Nub". I dont know what to do

I would really appreciated if someone could help me saying with distro would be ok, or how to solve the problems i have just mentioned. I will try my best too

Here are my specifications:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P8700
Motherboard: Intel Cantiga PM45
Video: nVidia Geforce GT 130M
Audio: Realtek ALC888/1200 @ Intel 82801IB ICH9
Ethernet: Atheros AR8131 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller
Wifi: Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN

For PM45, you should be able to install OSX without much problem
Set BIOS SATA to AHCI.
With V7 use boot options: -x -v cpus=1 (and/or busratio=20 if needed)

You also could take it to SL for better performance instead of Leopard, and the recommended distro releases would be either iAtkos S3 v2 10.6.3 or SnowOSX Universal v3.5/3.6.

Ok, i'll try doing it with those distros u told me. If there is any problem i'll tell you. If not, i will try again with V7 doing what u said. Thnks

Does anyone think that there'll be any problem with the video card? I have searched on Google, and i got that:
