Windows 7 and Snow Leopard (Dell 1525)
I am wanting to install Snow Leopard onto my Dell 1525 laptop. However, I also want it to 'dual boot' with Windows 7 which is already installed. I do not want to format this as it fully set up with my files and software...
I would also like it so that when I boot my laptop it automatically loads up windows 7 unless I press a button (e.g. F10...). The reason for this is that I will mostly be using windows.
So overall, this is what I am in need of (in priority order!);
1) A good, and rather simple guide on installing snow leopard on a partition on my hard drive without effecting any other partitions.
2) A way of making my laptop auto-boot into windows unless I tell it otherwise.
3) Also a small explanation of what 'kext' is/are.
4) Finally an explanation of what 'chameleon' is.
Thank you :)
