Tutorial to install 10.6.7 on this machine
Ok, my fellow 9205'ers, here's the tutorial on how to get Snow Leopard 10.6.7 running on your Pavilion 9205US.
I don't know how to post an attachment here so I uploaded it to depositfiles.
I only need to figure out how to fix the Keyboard/Mouse and Wi-Fi.
However, for the Wi-Fi, you can buy one of the Mini 150M Wireless N Adapter at ebay. This very small wireless adapter is supported by Snow Leopard as it has a Ralink RT5370 Chipset inside and you can get the driver from here:
As you can see on the image it kind of got weird on me and marked my CPU as Intel but it is actually AMD Turion 64x2 TL-50.
Keyboard and Mouse Update
I have a DV6308NR, it has the same processor and GPU as the laptop you used. They are almost identical.
I was able to install OSX by following your tutorial.
When I first booted my keyboard and trackpad worked. After I rebooted they no longer did. I found this odd so i reintalled and at first boot I ran dmesg on the terminal and this is what i got:
At this point they both work
notice How ApplePS2Trackpad was loaded
This is the second time
This was the first time that the trackpad and keyboard worked on the second boot so rebooted
this is what i got the third time, keyboard and trackpad didnt work. Notice that ApplePS2Trackpad is gone.
I didn't modify anything I did all of this with a fresh install.
Hopefully this can lead to a fix.
