hy there...
first of all, thank you EtHANBB for your upload!
I have just one question about installation:
you wrote we should turn into 32-bit mode if it's unpossible to run in 64-bit mode. could you tell me please WHERE and HOW I'm going to do this? (don't know where to run the bootloader menu :woz: -> sry for this possibly stupid question)
BTW: I installed OSX without problems and after the reboot there was just the message: "missing operating system" --> I think it's because of the bootloader, right?
BTW II: I installed OSX on a second partition which I partitioned in the manager of the installation utility and on the first partition was running win 7. (both aren't working yet ^^)
thank you so much 4 answers.
greets
1st of all, I'm not creator or uploader of this distro, I just found it. Why U people don't read? :D
2nd, it's in first post above links. -v arch=i386 or just arch=i386 for 32bit mode
3rd, Yes, it's missing bootloader, I think, try to use install DVD to boot into OS X
4th, I'm not sure how U installed it. If you used Disk Utility and formatted free space behind Win7 it probably just deleted the bootloader. Use your Win7 install DVD to start install dialogue, uder big button "Install" is link to Repair PC, in it, use Startup Fix (or something similiar).
Recommended method is to Partition disk with Disk utility then install Win an then OS X. Then install chameleon or repair win boot and add OS X to Windows bootloader from Win.
Hope this will help.

sorry ethan, i did read that you are just uploader of this OS, but I thought you can help me and I thank you for your answer.
how can I use the installation disk to boot into OSX? when I pick my dvd-drive in boot-menu I just come to the intallation-menu like before.
Okay after this dialogue "Missing Operating System" I used the Win7 installation disk and tried to repair the bootloader, but there was another alert. So I deleted the partition with OSX on it, and tried again to repair - that worked.
Okay I tried a lot of things and it didn't worked....
My question now: Do I absolutely have to partition my complete HDD into RAID and then install win7 and then OSX? (I ask because I read that I can also keep my running win7 system and install seperatly OSX on another partition - WITHOUT partitioning my whole HDD)
thanks ..
You do not have to apologise :)
I had troubles to boot up this distro but when I was making USB key with snow there was option to choose a disk to boot. If on that DVD isn't that option then try to make Chameleon Boot USB drive on your friend's iMac or iHack and then try to boot into Snow.
If it will not work you will probably have to (but there can be other options w/o formating whole drive I just do not know about them) format your entire disk but not as RAID :) (there are huge troubles with RAIDs whay I heard). Just need to partition your drive in OS X installer and use GUID partition table instead MBR which is defaultly using Windows.
But I think, the easiest way is to have 2 HDD one for Win and one for OSX.
BTW: I recommend you to make backup of your Win before any further playing with dualboot on 1 HDD ;)

I have installed this distro on 2 AMD machines without issue, well so long as I don't install the upgrades it works fine!
To install on an Atom machine pick the atom kernel and whatever other drivers your board needs. It may take a few attempts.
Do not install the updates since I have heard that Apple disables Atoms in the updates!!!
No, I don't come here often so don't expect a direct reply for a while.
