Problem! "Before You Begin... There is no keyboard connected to your computer.
Hi guys, I'm new here and also new to the whole hackintosh, but I'm pretty good with computers. I've tried scouring around for any help but haven't really found anything. I just installed Snow Leopard last night and everything installed correctly, but after the intial restart after the install I get this mesage "Before You Begin... There is no keyboard connected to your computer." So my keyboard and mousepad do not work. The work fine all the way until Mac OS X loads up. Also when it is scrolling through welcome screen with all the different languages, there is no sound. I tried restarting several times and keep getting the message. Connecting an external keyboard really isn't an option. I read somewhere that if I select to install the PS2 kext in the customize option that works sometimes? I'm at work right now and want to get this thing up and running as soon as I get home. So I'm wondering if you guys have any other ideas that could help me out? Oh I have a Lenovo Y550 and all the specs are capable of running it. Thanks in advance for any help, it is greatly appreciated! I look forward to using this forum!
