Hi there and welcome.
You HP belongs to windows :D
So for OSX doors, you may need to post full specs to see if it's more or less compatible, or google is your friend :D
oh yeah sry here are the specs
HP Pavilion dv5-1110ez (FU740EA), AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-62 (2x 2.0GHz, 2x 512kB Cache, 35W), 2048MB + 1024MB
15.4", WXGA (1280x800), BrightView • ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 256MB • 1x 160GB, DVD±RW DL, LightScribe • VGA, HDMI, Gigabit-LAN, 802.11 a/b/g, FireWire 400, eSATA, ExpressCard • 357x42x259 mm • WebCam, Windows Vista Home Premium
It depends on your board chipsets. But for easier installation, you could go with distro releases from iAtkos, iDeneb or iPC.
should i have to "find" as exapmle an iPC version and just burn and install it? does this work?
I don't quite understand what you mean.
