No Problems Here - just some informations for other users ...
This is my first post here, so I would like to thanks all the users of this forum because I found a lot of tricks here when I was installing my H@ck!nt0sh.
I made this post to talk about hardware compatibility (I know that HCL 10.6.2 is a good place to post this infos but I think it's a good idea to post it a second time here).
Let me intoduce my hardware that works very great under SL with a vanilla kernel including Apple's 10.6.4 last update.
Mobo: Stock Packard Bell mobo (MSI) with VIA PT890 Chipset.
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.87 GHz
RAM: 2*1 GO DDR II 667 MHz
VGA: Nvidia GeForce 7500 LE (Working OOB Full HD 1920*1080 @ 60 Hz)
LAN: Apple USB to Ethernet Adapter (Working OOB - Of Course ;))
WLAN: Ralink RT2571 USB (Not detected as airport but working with KEXT from Ralink Website Support).
Audio: VIA 5.1 Integrated Chipset (Unknown Model but working OOB including after 10.6.4 Update).
System was installed with "Hazard" distro (Intel / AMD / 10.6.1 / 10.6.2).
WLAN Drivers were compiled under 10.6.2, all the rest of the hardware worked fully and properly OOB ;)
And the last but not the least, update from 10.6.2 to 10.6.4, made without any problems (Using the last SleepEnabler before update of course), Sound / VGA / LAN / WLAN working OOB after update.
I'm now an happy OSX user ;)
