Need help installing Snow

I'm attempting to install atm and i need some help.
I'm using the iBoot and Multibeast method.

Phase one is over.

iBoot on CD and booted on my PC.

Earlier I tried a test boot to see if i can make it to the installation menu on OSX. Negative. Although I had all my drives plugged in.

Booted up in chameleon, removed iBoot CD from tray, replaced it with OS X DVD (a single layer dvd as i do not own a DL dvd-rom), pressed F5, nothing changed, all my partitions were still showing up and thats it.....no OSX DVD. Note that in windows, when I go on the DVD, its blank....but I wrote it myself. This DVD, i downloaded it from the net as a DMG image file and then used TransMac to burn it to the dvd.

Another option would be to modify the original image and shrink it down to fit. But all the tutorials or how-to's i came across only show the method for mac, and not windows...
Another question, if i were to convert the .DMG image to .ISO and then modify (it would be easier) and burn it to a DVD, would it still work?

#NOTE, the copy i'm using is LEGAL, sorta, cloned it from my friend who owns it, if i succeed in installing it and it works without problems, I will more than likely buy my own.

Just save yourself some grief and buy the retail Snow Leopard DVD for $29.

I do have similar problem. I have Biostar H55 HD, I5 K655 CPU, 4 GB memory, on board video, Retail Snow Leopard OSX 10.6.3, and using the Iboot also. It's hung after I put the OSX. Here is the snap shoot. http://blindkatana.com/HD55HD.jpg

Hey Justin,

If your friends Snow Leopard DVD came with a genuine Mac, then it cannot be used to install the way that you want.

Well, it did come with a genuine mac, an iMac G5 actually. But my friend couldn't find the DVD.....just my luck.
I need another option, anyone?

Maybe you should qualify a few things. The original iMac G5 came with Mac OS X 10.4 pre-installed, with a maximum OS X upgrade path up to Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5). If you are trying to use either of these DVD's with iBoot, they will not work (and if you copied the DVD's from a genuine Mac they will not work, irrespective of what version you use). From what I have read (and I have not done this installation myself) the iBoot method requires a retail Snow Leopard DVD (Mac OS X 10.6).

I have a cloned retail DVD. It should work.

I managed to get it to see the DVD at the chameleon screen but now i get stuck at the apple logo with a forbidden sign on top of it.
-v mode shows "cannot mount root, errno=19"

tried every solution there is....can't get pass that error.

I also tried iAtkos S3 v2 but my PC resets shortly after booting from it...

I did follow those steps but like i said i get stuck at:
cannot mount root, errno = 19
I tried every single boot option from every post i read:
PCIRootUID=1
rd=disk1s2
rd=disk1
-x
PCIRoot=1

i ran all in -v mode to be able to see the progress....and the errors ofc.

On the bright side, i managed to get to install screen with iAtkos S3 v2 with busratio=21.
Although i would love to have it install the vanilla way (retail like), i can't get pass that error, tried everything.

my specs are the following:

CPU: Intel Core i7 930
MOBO: GA-X58A-UD3R rev 1 F6
RAM: Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz 3x 2GB in Triple Channel
GFX: Gygabite nVidia GTX 260 896MB 448bit
HDD: (don't think it matters)
1x WD Black Edition 500GB (system hdd)
1x WD Green Power 1TB (storage hdd)
DVDROM: LG something.....
