I am trying to install iATKOS V7. when the installation asks me to choose boot options I push enter and the keyboard works until I get to the GUI. after the apple logo it asks me to click on the button to continue but the mouse is frozen! it is on the left upper corner and doesn't move. the mouse and the keyboard are from the same set and using the same wireless receiver (Logitech EX100) so it's strange why only keyboard works.
I tried it on my laptop and the mouse worked! so it is not a problem with the disc.
Intel E5200 @3.8GHZ

WD 320GB + Samsung 160GB already formatted to HFS+ by "Parted magic" livecd
Thanks for help!
It could be the driver/kexts are not loaded/recognized correctly (maybe with iAtkos installer packages). So you may want to use external keyboard/mouse to finish the installation process, and then load the correct driver for your kb/mouse afterward.
First I tried a regular USB mouse. after it didn't work I tried an old PS2 and it didn't work too.
Can it be because of some missing drivers for the motherboard? is it possible to add drivers to the installation? as I said the keyboard works before the apple logo so I can enter commands for the installation.
It happened to me with iAtkos at one time, but your board should be very compatible. You could try this. In BIOS, set ACPI enable, SATA to AHCI, disable legacy USB, disable USB mouse/keyboard.
-x -v cpus=1
Thank you very much! that worked. I am writing that massage with my hackintosh :)
version 10.5.7 so I am upgrading it now.
