Ok. I currently have windows 7.

I want to change to mac snow leo.

but I have a few problems.

Ok, first of all. My laptop screen is cracked.

I use my Dell external display.

I dont have any spare USB Flash drives and I also dont have any spare DVD-r disks

I just have an External hard drive 250 GB.

Is there any way I can use my external hard drive to boot up the installation?

And if so what kernels do I need to install?

Please help me!!! :(

I have an idea.

In the BIOS menu Im going to make VGA The main display.


Im going to open mac osx snow leo in virtualbox. Create the img.

Partition the external hard drive. Partition 1 = Install, Partition 2 = Snow Leo.

While in the installation Im going to format my main harddrive.

After installing mac on the external. Im going to use boot camp to install windows 7 to the main again.

Mac and Windows 7 dual boot?
