Kernel Panic while Booting, "dev" output
i am trying to install Mac OS X 10.6 on my machine since a while, now the last thing i tried was to install it to a IDE harddrive using a 10.5 VM.
The installation went well, i imported and chmodded any kexts i thougt will be needed and installed chameleon, but now im stuck at a problem:
Firstly I got a "still waiting for root device", but i solved it with rd=disk0s1.
Now, when I boot without -v, i get a kernel panic saying "you have to reboot your computer" and when i use -v, i see it recognizing my 1934, my USB, my Realtek LAN and all, but when it comes to the root device, it says:
then it hangs.
Got boot device = IOService ...
BSD root: disk0s1, major 14, minor 1
i used many boot options, like platform=X86PC or platform=ACPI and -f and -x and both simultaneosly
My system is a Core i7 920, MSI x58m mainboard with ICH10, 6GB ddr3 ram, ATI radeon hd4890
Thanks in advance,
