I need Hackintosh Help! please!

Hey there,

So i have a Asus P6X58D-E mobo and have been using this guide -

How to Build a Hackintosh Mac and Install OS X in Eight Easy Steps

to walk me through it. I get to the point where i boot in to iboot, replace the disk with OSX (10.6.3 retail build) and then it boots to the Apple logo with spinning gear. and after about 3 minutes it gives me the circle with the cross through it (like a no smoking sign) right on top of the apple and spinning gear. Anyone ever experience this? I configed the BIOS exactly to the guides specifications.

hi there, I think alotof people have been going the same/similar trouble like yours. Just search and look on another thread in this forum.

I am also looking for some information on this board, trying to build the same hackintosh with the same board and with the same tutorial from lifehacker. I can load the iboot but when it loads snow leopard it either goes to default power off grey screen or in the "-v" option it runs forever and brings small disabled icon on top of apple logo. :( looking all over the internet and forums (including this one) and I can't find any info on how to fix the boot loader or bios settings on p6x58d-e

any help is much appreciated.
