Help I've think I've done something very bad..
O.k hi guys I'm new to the hackintosh community, I've been trying to get my hackintosh up and running so I can mess around with objective C.
Intel core 2 duo 2.39ghz (1 processor 2 cores)
boot rom version MBP41.0073.BOO
I've wiped my hard drive and partioned it into 1 ms dos (fat) and the other 1 is mac os extended (journaled), I have installed the os onto the mac os extended which gives kernal errors, however when I boot the oss in safe mode(-x) it works fine, this has left with aload of problems which I would like you're guys help in fixing.
1. my internet is not working so I can't download stuff like drivers, I've tried connecting directly to the router with a ethernet cable but no luck, damn my wireless. As soon as I find oujt what my wireless card is I'll post back here but I'm presuming its not compatable, any ideas to get around this.
2. This is more directed at gernal computers, when I load my p.c I can press f2 and get into my bios fine my pririty order is disk --> intermnal hard drive, I've put in my windows 7 installation c.d to try and install windows (and then download the files I need and then move them to my mac) however its not picking up the boot c.d, this works fine on other computers even if it involves wiping my hard drive has anyone got any ideas here as I need windows on my laptop as well.
3. as fun as it is to have to go to options -- boot in safe mode to run my hackintosh every time can anyone thing of a way around this, from the log from the kernal error it was a dependeicy issue with my radeion hd 3600 series so its an issue with my gfx card, any ideas? (tried botting 1 core only and only in 32 bit).
thanks alot for the help guys I'm sorry if there is a lack of information I have no idea what you guys need so I'll update this post with the kernal error log as needed.
now the hackintosh section is not working at all, when I load I have the options and can type in kernal but when I try ans boot it up in safe mode e.t.c the computer just freezes, I would really like some kind of command to earse my hard drive so I can freshly install windows and then try again.
