Having trouble booting install disc...
Here's my rig:
Acer Aspire 5251-1005 Notebook
CPU: AMD V120 - 2.2Ghz (Single-core x64)
Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 (HyperMemory)
Wifi: Atheros AR5B93 802.11b/g/n
Ethernet: Broadcom NetLink Gigabit
Memory: 2048MB (Shared w/ GPU)
HDD: 250GB SATA (Current w/ 2 partitions: Win7 & OEM recovery)
I have tried to boot into iAtkos v7 and an unknown (apparently AMD compatible) distro of Snow Leopard with & without verbose and cpus=1 flags, yet it gets stuck and sits at the verbose text. I recall something about it not recognizing my CPU. I would like to get Snow Leopard installed, unless I'll be stuck with a lot of half working kexts, in which case I'd rather have Leopard. I'm not completely new to this, I've successfully installed Leopard on my Acer Aspire One AOA150, but this one is giving me trouble.
I guess my questions are, what distro should I use, what flags should I throw at it, and what kexts to use/where to get them. Thank you in advance for you response.
