Dell Optiplex 760
Hi
I've been trying all sorts of methods to install SL onto my Dell Optiplex 760.
Nothing seems to work. If I try various installation disks I get a message about the 'ACPI' driver not being found.
I've also tried iDeneb which completely froze on the apple screen before install.
People talk about installing kexts, but I am a bit confused by this - if you need a kext before the installation disk itself is run, then when and how do you install it? It seems like all my options would be in the BIOS because there's nothing else pre-installation disk.
Any help would be very much appreciatied - I've been trying this for a while and I understand others have got 760s to work. Can't seem to do it by following the same methods.
Thanks

UPDATE: My friend gave me the wrong iBoot disk - once I had the latest version, everything went incredibly well. Audio and LAN worked without having to use Multibeast. However the system is quite choppy and does certain things unpredictably. Safari is problematic as is Chrome. Firefox seems to work, but video will not play - there is a strange hole in the screen where the video should be so you can see windows beneath the video layer.
Not sure what is causing this. The Dell Optiplex 760 worked better straight off than my Customac Hackintosh, which needed a lot of Multibeasting. If someone has a decent guide of how to finish the Optiplex off I'd love to see it!
