cant get install to load

iv spent hours trying to get os x to install i have 2 issues i get depending on what software im trying to load, one is i get to the apple logo but no spinning wheel and it freezes the other is it will get to a black screen. i need some help iv tryed everything
sometimes it will get to the screen to select lang. or when i go to formate the drive and freeze from there too. maybe 2diffrent issues idk

cpu- core 2duo
motherboard -p6n-diamond (ms-7320 ver1)
ram-4gb ddr2
hdd-1tb wd black
video card-galaxy geforce 8400gs

please help i wanna make this work but mi at a loss.

Does it load Darwin when it loads? If so, press F8, and type in -v and return/enter key.

Tell me where it stops.
