Hello All

i have a dell xps m1530 and I am very new to Mac. I am trying to make my sound work, but I have no idea how to view/install/update my sound drivers with the mac os. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

im having the same issue. i have it installed and i chose the realtek and the nvinject but niether of them seem to do anything.

im using an i7 ive been trying to figure this stuff out for the past couple days

Just figured it out, I used the Realtek HD audio option. I then booted into windows and muted and unmuted the sound, verifying that it worked, and then booted into mac and it worked fine.

It would only work when I booted into windows and muted then unmuted first. change your driver and try this.
