Post Pavilion dv6745us AMD Turion 64- help get me started

I'm new to putting os x on my pc, but I just bought this laptop from a friend and now I want to try something new. Can anyone help me get started?
Can anyone help me out with some download links or guides for my specific system?

processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile technology TL-60 2.00 GHz
    RAM : 2.00 GB
    System type: 32-bit Windows 7

    Thanks in advance!
    Jonathan

Find out if your nForce chipsets/BIOS SATA has AHCI supported, if your hard drive is SATA type.

    is that enough info?
I read that if the computer supports windows vista out of the box than it supports AHCI. Is that correct? The computer did come shipped with Vista..

Vista, XP or even Windows7 almost got nothing to do with SATA AHCI supporting, but that is what OSX runs natively, without that then it's more work for yourself. You just need to simply check your BIOS.

Then you could find out how to do it.
I don't want to discourage you but you should try your best effort first before asking question, as I won't waste my time for something that is easily available to you (yes, my personal time already spent looking at and answering your questions. There has been few replies already and you're not even starting anything yet).
This is hackintosh that you want to get into for yourself and you would be the one who do it.
You could simply read your computer/motherboard manual for the answer, unless you want me to read it and walk you through.

to enter your bios, reboot your comp and once your at the first start up screen, (in your case its HP) press F10, which usually is the key to entering your BIOS Setup, that should help getting the information you need about your computer
