Default OSx86 on AMD/ATI - what is the most current method?

    Hey guys,

I am a long time Windows SA trying to delve into the world of OSx86.

    My hardware is as follows:

Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 MB, Phenom II X4 820 CPU, and an ATI 4650 vid card.

I am in my research phase right now and plan on converting my dual boot system to a tri boot system.

I've read alot about the OSx86 projects, but I am having trouble finding the most current methods. Some involve using custom OS images such as ideneb and ipc, and others involve using an OEM image of OSX, such as 132 Bootloader.

I am confused as to what is the most current, less troublesome method to get OSX running on my hardware above.

I just need to be pointed in the right direction. I am not scared at all from the command line and not worried about corruption as this would be installed on a seperate HD and use EasyBCD to select my OS on boot.

    Thanks in advance.

download efi empire for amd. I think it was 1.085 r2 Use google to find it. Burn the legecy.iso. Install from Snow Retail DVD 10.6.3. Buy the cd it's only 29.99 at the store. I've found that the torrents for Snow dvd's are incomplete. Also get multibeast from tonymacx86x.com. It's a big help. while you're there get ati.int and the 5000 series kexts. Worked good on my 5870. Read the docs on the multibeast. You'll learn a lot. Flash drives are a huge advantage too.
