    I'm thinking about getting the HP 17-1181NR - Amazon.com has a really good deal on it.

    Has anyone had any luck installing OSX on any of the Envy line?

    I'm interested to get OSx running on my Envy 14 too.

    Intel Core i5 M520, 2.40Ghz
    Intel HM55 Southbridge
    4GB RAM DDR3 (2x2GB)
    Broadcom 43224AG WiFi Adapter
    IDT HD Audio

    Dual GFX:
    Intel GMA HD - 1GB
    Radeon HD 5650 - 1GB


    Anything else I should provide?

    Download snowleopard for amd and intel by hazard from pirate bay once you boot up osx before you install go to utilities in the top bar and. Click disk utility then add a partion for osx choose the size you want and then go to options and make sure guiu is checked not the other ones and name it somthing like osx and then install it to that partition

    I have the exact same computer as you to a t and am looking to do the same thing. I've partitioned 200 gb's for os x but am scared to pursue any methods on the internet that are tailored for other computers. Have you had any luck getting os x loaded on the beats?
