    Default OS X Blade Servers?

    Hi,

I'm totally new to the hackintosh scene but am basically looking to build a rackmount render farm for After Effects/Final Cut Server for a small production house.

Basically, i've come into a handful of *ridiculously* cheap diskless blade servers that i plan on shoving some drives in and connecting to a RAID NAS running *nix over gbit ethernet.

I'm not overly sure of the exact specs yet but know that these are Intel P4 Blades, w/ram, w/out hdd. Not sure on the mobo but i'm hoping IDE/SATA compatible.

So my question, if i wanted to get say 4 or 5 of these and boot OS X Server onto each, would the setup/approach differ greatly from a vanilla OSX86 install? What do i have to look out for? check?

As I said, i'm totally new to the hackintosh scene but have been running macs for years and am really wanting to get a little FCS render farm on the go as it would greatly reduce our downtimes.

If anyone has any experience in this area, knows of any tutorials/reading material which would be advisable to read etc. i'd be really appreciative for the advice.

    Thanks.

it would be best to detail exact specs. When it comes to osx, starting with what the chipset is. its a good way to see how much 'fun' you are going to have.......
