Default Novice needs help for dual boot win7 and snow leopard

    Hi every1,

I am a novice to the world of hackint0sh, but I loved this site for the amt of info it provides.

But I m not able to shortlist any 1 guaranteed method to install snow leopard on my PC with win7 dual boot.

    My PC config is
    - Intel Core i3 530, 2.93 Ghz Processor
    - Intel DH 55 TC motherboard
    - 2 GB DDR3 Transcend RAM
    - 500 GB SATA Seagate HDD

    and other basic peripherals.

I m already running windows 7 64bit on one of my 250 GB partitions

    I have downloaded iATKOS S3 v2.
But I m still not able to start with it.

If any1 has link to other threads or sites, it would be very helpful.

    Please help me.

I would love to have hackint0sh PC.

Nothing is guaranteed here as this is hackintosh that you want to get into yourself.
S3 should start on your hardware as it's the best for your system.
Also your system is a desktop?

Then maybe you should describe what happened when it did not start.
People can not guess very well, if you know, and certainly they're not sitting in front of your computer.

hey.. here is where i get stuck.

I boot to iATKOS s3 v2 DVD from the darwin bootloader. Pressed F8 for advanced.
I get 4 options - iATKOS , System Partition, Windows Partition, Windows Partition.

    I selected the iATKOS option.

5 seconds after the selection the system restarts and again the same thing continues.

I also tried a command at the prompt i.e -v.

I got some 7 or 8 lines. At the line " Starting the ... " the system restarts again.

    Please help me out

    Hi,
The iAtkos S2 V3 doesn't run with your chipset DH55.

You need a DVD of Snow Leopard Retail (8Gb) and system running in basic mode.
For beggin instalation, enter on your BIOS and enable function name "HPET", make your SATA controller to AHCI or ACHI (not IDE),
If you have more than 4Gb RAM, remove adictional memories. Remove adictionally Hard Drives. Download from site tonymacx86.com the iBoot disk and multibeast installer.
Boot with iBoot, if start remove iBoot and put Retail S/L and press F5. Install Retail DVD, reboot with iBoot and for first run update the S/L for 10.6.6 (Combo Update) and NO RESTART, install the multibeast from tutorial site and restart your machine.
Add yours removed memories and Hard Drives and disable "HPET" on your BIOS.
    Your S/L is now installed!

*Sorry my English, I'm from Brazil.

    Thanks!
