    Default Nokia Booklet 3G

My goal is to get 10.6 installed on this thing.

    My tools
    iMac 24" 10.6.2
    16GB USB drive (for installation)
    10.6 retail disk

The Nokia Booklet has the following specs
    CPU and chipset
    Intel® Atom™ Z530, 1.6 GHz
    Intel® Poulsbo US15W

So far i have created a bootable USB drive using NetbookBootMaker 0.8.3. I am able to boot to the installer but the problem is that when i get to install the hard drives are not listed. if I go to terminal and do a "diskutil list" i see the USB drive as disk0 and the disk1-6.

I have tried to do diskutil mountDisk disk1 (through 6). No errors are reported but they still don't show up in Disk Utility. all the disks show up as untitled. Disk1 through Disk 5 have a size reported as +524.3KB and Disk 6 is +1MB. (which is weird).

    FYI
at the boot menua i see 4 volumes. the first is the USB SL installer. The next 3 are System, Local Disk, and Data.

    Thanks
    -Will

    Also, see this thread.

That acer uses the same chipset. But AFAIK the hard drive on the nokia booklet is soldiered to the Mobo. Plus taking it apart looks like a PITA

And since I am still up the VIAO P uses the same chipset as well. (based on this blog post)

I tried this procedure with no luck.
