    Default No boot after installation

Hi there, i'm currently trying to install os x on my acer timeline 4810tzg.

Using empire efi and the retail snow leopard disc i managed to install os x on my external harddrive. i got to the part where it asked me to restart the pc. What happends next is:

i boot empire efi, select to boot from the external harddrive but all that happends is a few lines of texts appear and after maybe 20 seconds dissapear again and there i am left with the darth vader background....

any ideas what might be the problem?

    pc specs

    IntelŪ PentiumŪ processor SU4100 (2 MB L2 cache, 1.30 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 10 W), supporting IntelŪ 64 architecture

    4 gig Dual-channel DDR3 SDRAM

    ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4330

    Mobile IntelŪ GS45 Express Chipset
