    Default no ahci?

    i get an ebios read error:error 02
    error XXXXXXX secotrs 0

i get this error above everytime i try to use iAtkos s3 v2. i went through every page of my bios and i do not have sata mode anywhere in my hp nc6400 laptop. So without sata mode i dont have ahci as an option. is there any generous soul out there that knows what to do to fix this.

There could be two separate issues.
    What is your installation methods?
Your system specs? Particularly chipsets, southbridge, DVD/HDD types?

    Default specs

    intel core duo T2400
    intel 945m chipset
hitachi 5400rpm 120 gig sata hdd
dvdr drive idk exactly if its sata or not
    intel 945 gm

the dvdr reads the install disc but after you put in the verbose or boot from the chameleon boot screen it comes up with a bunch of ebios errors half way down the screen exactly!

my install method is iatkos s3 v2.

The error mostly DVD media/reading problem.
    Reburn/checking iso is one option.

so i dont thinks it is the download of iatkos because it starts up i think that it could be the burner i used.

so what is a good iso burner you would recommend that i use?

It should be very simple to burn an iso to a DVD, if the iso file is good as you already checked.
