Niggling Dual Boot issue foollowing reinstall of Win 7 x64 on larger drive
I have just done a fresh install of Win 7 Ultimate x64 on a larger HD than I had been using - ie from 220 Gb (salvaged from my iMac) to a 400 Gb disk. First I swithed back to IDE mode to prevent issues and disconnected my other 3 drives.
Win 7 installed like a daisy and boots no bother.... as long as it's standalone...
Switched back to AHCI in the bios and set boot order to my Snow Leo Boot disk and booted. as the Chameleon (now using the latest version via Chameleon Wizard having also tried earlier versions to now avail) boots I catcha very briefly the following: ntfs_fixmp: magic doesn't match (some memory address or other)..
On the boot sceen itself the Windows drives seem to be recognized though one of them despite having a name is simply referred to as NTFSVolume
So I boot to the drive I know contains windows... get starting Windows Screen immediately followed by the blue dump screen.
Have tried several repairs and fix mbrs etc - which I can only do if Windows is the ONLY disc connected and more often than not only in IDE mode... I cannot repair it with teh other discs present as Windows gives a message that repair does not work on this copy of Windows... - BL***y typical!)
I have also gone into Snow Leopard and reapplied chameleon, changed the position of discs in the bios, changed sata cables physically and still get this message.
Does anyone have any idea how to "cure" this?
(ps I also tried the terminal Diskutil routine posted on the tonymac forum... to no avail... and cannot find any references whatsoever to ntfs_fixmp: magic doesn't match of even part of this string in Google search
I absolouely do not want to have to use the EasyBCD option or to have Windows as my primary OS,,,Love Chameleon as it's more mac like all round rather than those tinny Windows GUIS
Thanks in advance
Seems I can only boot the WIndows installation with Sata configured as IDE in which case OS X and Chameleon don't seem to get recognized

Thank you all for your support and suggestions... couldn't have done it at all without all your replies...
To resolve this issue yourself, enable the AHCI driver in the registry before you change the SATA mode of the boot drive. To do this, follow these steps:
Exit all Windows-based programs.
Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
If you receive the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.
Locate and then click one of the following registry subkeys:
In the right pane, right-click Start in the Name column, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
On the File menu, click Exit to close Registry Editor.
Or you can download a tool to do it for you from here: Error message when you start a Windows 7 or Windows Vista-based computer after you change the SATA mode of the boot drive: "STOP 0x0000007B INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE"
