Default New to your forum & have a few questions.

I've been reading a number of threads & need a little help finding hardware support & so on. I have installed Ubuntu on an older PC that dual booted with Windows XP. I learned a lot from that so maybe I'm ready for Mac.

I do own a iMac completely upgraded to OSX 10.7.2 (Lion). I have the original Leopard & Snow Leopard discs as well as the downloaded Lion img file on DVD.

What I'd like to do is to dual boot with a Windows 7 64-bit custom PC that I built earlier this year. I realize getting the hardware drivers to work will be an issue as well but so was Ubuntu.

    So, is this possible?

I am sure it can be done, however I have never attempted on an i5 machine. I tried with i3 processor on a Dell laptop, however I had issues with updating to 10.6.8. All I could do is install it and use boot cd to boot it up. I never could get a boot loader installed.

Check to see what ethernet card and check to make sure your video card is supported.
