Network adapter not available on VMWare Leopard in Windows
I have a Mac Leopard running on VMWare Player 3.0 on Windows 7 64bits.
It works almost fine, but there's no way to enable the ethernet adapter.
When I open the Network Configuration in the MAC OS, the only options I have are the built in modems. If I use the Diagnostics, it doesn't find any ethernet adapter.
I tried using VMWare bridged connection and NAT unsuccessfully.
I read a lot of posts, but most of them only have problems detecting the network connection, but I cannot "see" the network adapter at all.
I used a Kalyway distribution and then udpated to OS 10.5.2 booting with EFI Rebel ISO image.
I tried with some virtual disk you can download from many sources, but all ask for hardware virtualization, and my CPU doesn't support it.
solution found for network adapater VMWare + MAC OS + Windows 7
Obviously, after 1 month looking for a solution, I posted here and 5 minutes later found the solution!!!!
I found this article: Vmware - OSx86
but only matters this line:
Just add this line to the configuration of the VM configuration (*.vmx) and after that, I started the VM, open the Network configuration and the "New adapter found" dialog saluted me!!!
Hope this helps somebody else
