Need som help :-)
a few days ago I bought a Samsung N310 Netbook. i am now searching for a Tutorial to install Snow Leopard. I have Snow leopard and a MacPro here, so i think I have everything I need. But, what are the next Steps?
Here the specs of my netbook:
Intel® Atom™ Processor N270 (1.6GHz),
533MHz FSB with 512KB Cache,
Intel 945GSE + ICH7M,
1GB (1 x 1GB) DDR2 800MHz
THX for your help
PS.: Excuse my bad written english, I am no native speaker :-))
Ok, it works, most of all. I´m able to boot my Samsung N310 with Snow Leopard and everthing works great, except WIFI and Audio. I tried nearly everything to fix it (change Kext etc.), but nothing works. Perhaps someone has an new Idea. My Wlan-Card is a Atheros AR5006EG.
i recently bought the same samsung model. what installation did you use? i am trying ideneb but my install keeps on failing.
what are your settings?
Thats my way
Ok, I did the other way. First I make a USB-Stick from the Snow Leo Retail-DVD on my MacPro. The next Step was to make him bootable with the app "Netbook Bootmaker". Finally I insert this stick into my Netbook and install Snow Leo as I did it on an original Mac. Thats all:-)) It works great, except Wifi and Audio. Until now I found no solution for this.

Good process summary here
Been trying to point all Samsung N130 folks in this direction, so we can get critical mass on the remaining Wifi and Sleep issues, and the clean up the audio installation process:

I bought a Dell 1390 W wireless card a long time ago for another hackintosh machine and threw in in my N310. It should work. I am going to try and install this week/weekend and will post my results.
