someone plz help me to install SNOW LEOPARD 10.6.2 on My laptop.

Configuration is
Lenovo Y550

· Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T6600 ( 2.20GHz 800MHz 2MB )
· Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64
· 15.6 " HD Wide LED 1366x768
· NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M 1024MB
· 4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1066MHz
· 500GB 5400
· DVD Recordable (Dual Layer)
. Intel Wireless Wi-Fi Link 5100
. Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet

Your best bet is to install leopard first then update it to snow.

There are a number of different options for installing leopard, you can install a patched OSX such as iATKOS or you can install from a real OSX disk with a vanilla install.

Yes, most snow leopard installation requires you to have a working Leopard installed. If you need help installing leopard ( i will go with iDeneb v1.3) and selecting drivers for your pc, Message me and i will be glad to help.

You can install snow leopard on a pc by using "Snow Leopard by Hazard"

Anyone have a guide on how to install Vanilla OSX on this model laptop?

I used Empire EFI and was able to install this on the Lenovo Y550.

I downloaded and booted using the laptop legacy boot disc for Empire EFI. The non-legacy boot wasn't detecting both USB ports.

I then updated to 10.6.2 and was able to install the video driver from kext.com. Finally got that work, could never get it to go from iatkos v7....but now I can't seem to get the sound to work which I don't remember having issues with on iatkos...Also, 64 bit isn't enabled and the system only detects 1gig of ram. Oh and after I installed this, I tried putting Chameleon boot loader in to avoid having to use the boot disc from Empire EFI, but I can't get it to work right.

I'm so close! Please help...
