    Hi there,

    Have you tried:

    Downloads - Audio - Binary patched AppleHDA.kext for ALC889 - Kexts.com

    Instruction included.

    Hi,

    Is there instruction for you?
There are 2 kexts in your /S/L/E, one in /E/E along with a DSDT, and then permission repair for both folders.

    Cheers,

Use these files.... eventually copy the dsdt.... then you don't need hdaenabler. Me myself found these files and used every of them, and my GA-X58-UDR3 (alc889) really works fantastic. I don't know if kakewalk use efi, but don't think it matters... just put the files the right place and voila.... (applehda in s/l/e) - the rest in extra folder
