I'm new here. Sorry about that but we all start somewhere.
For me I started out to buy a Mac because I've had it up to here with Win 7 and the pathetic way it uses two applications of one program to make 64 bit workable.

I'm a photographer and publisher. My mates (don't you love 'em?) told me about iAKTOS. The short of it is I have a really nice i7 system sitting on my bench that has never been switched on. Radeon 5850 fluid cooled graphics card, Asus P6x58D board, 12 gig Ram 1000 watt power and a 1 terabyte main drive with 6 terabytes of storage drives.

I print seriously large photos with files sizes well into three figures. All along the road to here, my mates are telling me all this is going to fly. Well maybe it will, maybe it won't. The problem seems to be (they've all gone to ground at this point) that I don't own an Apple computer although I did by a copy of Snow 10.6.3 for when (if?) it does actually come together.

OK so far it been fun. Now I asking if I should perhaps just phone up the Apple store and get a MAC sent over because try as I might, I can't get Virtualbox or VM ware to load a mac OS on my core 2 Quad 2.33 system with a Gforce 250 card in it. The Gigabyte board is not virtual enabled and never will be.

Sorry about the drawn out stuff above but I think I needed to elaborate that before asking for help. I've Googled up all the instructions I can find and spent the last 5 days (not full time) trying to get a virtual machine running so I can follow the instructions... It doesn't look as if I'm going to be able to do that.

Can anyone either offer me an ISO I can burn a disc from that will boot and install snow on my new PC or point me to where I can get clear and concise instructions on how to load this new PC with Snow instead of Windows. I'll never need dual booting I just need a system I can run Adobe's software on that is stable and functional at the top end of the performance curve. I'll be grateful for help ...please?
