    Default Lenovo U350

    Dear Forum Members
I am new on this area and I plan to buy a new sub notebook and use it in dual boot mode.
After several studies to fit on my budget I ended up considering the Lenovo U350.
Unfortunately, after several searches I did not find any entries which confirmed the possibility to install OSX in this laptop.
    These are the main characteristics:
Processor: Intel Core2 Solo ULV Processors (Penryn) (BGA) SU3500 (1.4GHz, 800 MHz, 3MB)
    Display: 13.3 inch 1366 x 768 HD WXGA
    HDD: 320GB 5400rpm SATA
    Memory: 4GB DDR3 DRAM 1066 MHz
    Graphics: Intel GMA 4500M
    Camera: 1.3M integrated camera
Sound: Dolby Sound Room certification with 2 x 1.5 W stereo speaker
Integrated communications: Ethernet 10/100/1000M, Intel WiFi Link 5100, 1 x 2 AGN (Shirley Peak), Non-Intel Wireless b/g, Bluetooth, WWAN

Can someone help me with this topic?

    My questions:
    - Is it possible to install OSX in this laptop?
    - Are the components similar enough to another laptop for which a tutorial exists?
    - Which is the best process to install OSX in this laptop (if possible)?

Thanks in advance to all that can give me some leads.

    Robin

The integrated graphics will probably be an issue. If possible try buying a laptop with an Nvidia card for less hassle and better compatibility. The processor should be okay but might want to think about going a little better depending on your intended use and if you intend to keep it for a bit. As to installation there really is no best way. Most guides are all copy and paste stuff. My advice is to invest a little time finding out what Kext are, how to Repair Permissions, how to rebuild MKEXT and how to copy files using UNIX. If you learn these few things you will be armed with some tools that you can use. Which is way better than following something blindly and not knowing what your doing. Just my 2cents, hope this helps .
