Now the issue is when i am booting to macosx it shows a green screen with power icon and asking me to hold the power button to restart.I tried using the command cpus=1 but it does not continue the boot. I had chose very basic drivers during the installation and i didn't installed sleepenabler or any additional modified kernels.I used to have panic errors that's why i made a clean install. But didn't know that i have to suffer again

please help i am tired of making format and reinstalling the mac all the time. Please this forum is the most active on internet.Hope to have a reply soon. Please

I don't quite understand your question.
1. You were able to install v2 and SL was running OK?
2. You then update it to 10.6.4 using apple updater.
3. Now, it won't boot?

I would go back to step 1 again, 10.6.3 is good.
For updating, it depends on your hardware system, installed patches/fixes etc.
So direct update sometimes will render it non bootable and you need to follow certain steps to make it a working system.

What is your system specs and the kernel that you installed for 10.6.3, 10.6.4? Any additional entry in your com.apple.Boot.plist?
Your system patches/fixes stay in /E/E? Do you use DSDT?

My Hardware Configuration :
Lenovo g550 model
Dual Core pentium processor, T4400 2.20Ghz
3GB RAM
Graphics intel 4 series express chipset family
Chipset Intel GL40
Instructions sets MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, EM64T
i think the kernel version is mentioned in the last screen shot. While installing i kept everything default except wireless, wired, graphics and mouse drivers.I have not installed any modified kernels.I guess the kernel is 10.4.0. I have the backup of extension folder from last installation. If you can help me replacing the necessary .kext or whatever you say. Thank you

There seems several kexts and dependencies that have problem.
If you want to delete them then try the appleHDA first, and you could move it to a different folder just in case you need it back.
