    Hi,
Thank you for letting me know.
Wishing you a wonderful vacation. Enjoy it

You mean to tell me that you need a vacation after working with OSX for just a short time?

    Regards

I've look at your screenshots again, and in both cases it seems to have problem with SATA/IDE controller for your hdd/partition.

So try this boot options to see if it goes any further

    -x -v cpus=1 busratio=20

and if needed add in -f

    see how it works.

Thanx for your time and sorry to be so long coming back online!

Well, I got news... bad ones I think.

I needed my laptop to work a little so I tried to install the latest Ubuntu, and... install failed!!! Amazing. Ubuntu 9.04 works.

So with curiosity, I tried to install a legal windows 7 Professional I have, and... install failed!!! with other copies... same result (the Windows check-up program says my laptop is ok for 7).

So continuing, I tried to install windows vista (not legal but just for trying and installed operating system when I did buy the computer), and... install failed again!!! with other copies... same result.

Now I've installed back Windows Xp, tried to install Office 2010 trial version and... install failed... I notice also that every video stuff like Flash on web pages has a small Canal+ effect.

I seems my graphic card is having problems now, or something else.

So after seeing your message, I installed back VmWare and tried your advices, and same result .

Trying directly with the cd Yatkos v7, same result.

Maybe my hardware problem is crashing every install of modern software, for the graphic card, or worst, the dual core...

Here you have the print-screen with VmWare:

    -x -v cpus=1 busratio=20

    -x -v cpus=1 busratio=20 -f

Thanx for all you've done, and sorry to be late in my response.

    Best regards,

It's not good when that many OS's failed.
Almost sounds like hardware problem that you've experienced, maybe hard drive, video and RAM? Maybe bad hard disk?

Your OSX installations stop at hdd and controller. So go through your BIOS first to see if there is any setting out of the ordinaries, and if there is utilities for checking RAM and hard disk integrity.

If you could remove/put back RAM modules as sometimes there is bad connections?

Or you could use some Boot CD/utilities to check for those items. Search for them as they are widely available.

yep, my case is almost lost... this morning, the "input" of the electric alimentation cable just smelt down. I suppose the power overheated.

I give up this laptop. It still working with xp at the moment and after checkup, it's a hardware problem, laptop too old, not worth repairing motherboard on this kind of laptop.

So, I'll buy a new laptop. If you have any advices for a good actual laptop compatible hackintosh for designing in 3D, it's welcome! (under 1000€, my tailor is rich but I'm not . I'll start my search tomorrow, now I'm expecting Spain killing Portugal ))) Soccer first!!!

Anyway, thanx thanx thanx a lot for your precious help!!! I own you one... or 2!!!

    Regards,

    Pep

    You're very welcome.
Sorry about your laptop but if it has served you well then that would be perfect. Another reason to shop for a new laptop

    Ahaha Excellent!

Well indeed, it's a good idea ... I did not like soccer before coming into Spain, but after 4 years living here, it's an obligation when everybody, the whole city is trembling when the local team or the national selection scores... impressive...

It's a good way to take a break

A good project will be the Mac OS X 10.6.4 Soccer Special Edition (the system crash during each soccer games and oblige you to watch the game in a pub)... perfect!
