Kernel Panic before installation begins
I am trying to install Snow Leopard in my new PC (It doesnt have any OS and I never installed Leopard in it).
I turn on my computer, and I see the Apple Logo, then I see the spinning wheel close to the Apple Logo. But after 10 to 15 seconds with this spinning wheel spinning, the scrren turns a little more black and I got a Kernel Panic. With no message errors at the background, just the message `You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power... bla bla bla`.
Do I have to modify the OSInstall.mpkg ? If I do have to, can anyone help me out with that or just post a download link ?
Also, I`m not sure, but if I need to use those bootflags, can anyone teach me where to put them ? When my PC is booting, I need to press F8 to select to boot my HDD. And when it boots in the Apple screen, if I press F8 nothing happens.
I finally got to the installation program.
But now I have another problem,
When I go to the Utilities>Disk Utility in the installation page, I can only see my External HDD, my WD 500GB Hard Drive (Internal) does not show in the list.
What should I do ? Thanks
Now I got to the installation page,
But when the installation finishes, all I get is this error:
"Install Failed Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer. The installer could not start up the computer from the disk "SLHD". Try selecting your disk using the Startup Disk utility."
And when I try to set my SLHD (My internal Hard Drive) to be the Startup disk I get this error: "You can't change the startup disk to the selected disk. The bless tool was unable to set the current boot disk."
