    Hi,
Does the instruction came with it have boot options?
    You can try
    -x -v cpus=1 "rd"="disk0"

Or leave out the cpus=1. See what happens.

I understand. You're not all over the place. What we're fighting is your nForce 430 chipsets driver. OSX works with SATA controller (for your hard drive) in AHCI mode. There suppose to be an option in BIOS for it, but that is not possible on your nForce 430 series.
And when the DVD installer can not find your hard drive (waiting for root device), it's because the release version DVD does not come with the correct nForce series driver, or OSX installer does not recognize it correctly (later release may come with later version of nForce chipsets, but we only need the 430 series for your board).

ok that was weird... I forgot to clean the partition where I had ideneb v1.4 and with the ideneb v1.6 inserted in the DVD Rom I did the -x -v "rd"="disk0" command and it took me straight to the welcome screen I did all the steps made the account and my fan was running like crazy there were no drivers installed at all no video or nothing it did reconized my processor under the about this computer.

I will be doing a clean sweep of the parition and try installing ideneb v1.6. I want to see if it works because my goal is to get rid of the windows partition and just leave all of the HD for Ideneb v1.6 is that possible or do I need to have both win and ideneb running?

    Alright.
Try to do the clean install, don't forget to select your nForce driver, and the ACPI fixed as Dj Osiris directed.

No, if you don't want windows then there is no need to have both.
The reason I suggested Ideneb 1.6 is because it's later release with better hardware support. See if it works for you, if not then you can go back to 1.4.
I've never tried vmware player because of the overhead, unless your hardware is powerful enough, otherwise your experience with OSX may not be satisfactory. And I've rather had my OS, be whatever, using the whole system resource by itself I like it to be as fast as it could be.

If it still does not work for you then we need to wait for Dj Osiris, as he is one of the very best around here, for further directions.

I'll be offline shortly and call it the night. Let keep us posted.
    Cheers,

And thank you for sending me the x64 video kexts, 8400GS. I've tried and it worked wonderful.
For curiosity, I also tried the one from kexts.com, but that did not work for x64, 10.6.3 SL.

    Thanks again.
    Best Regards,
    Hi,
Sorry I didn't see your message there my friend . About your video, sure no problem . About the version from Kexts.com PizzaJoe reported it not working as well. The version I uploaded for you was from Krazubu,Fassl, & Turbo (The Developers), they have done great work on the project and I'm glad it worked for you my friend.

Ok so I did the clean sweep of the partition then insterted the ideneb v1.6 DVD and nothing happens still wont go past the still waiting for boot device... I tried all of the commands ratvn gave me and nothing worked. The only thing I get to work is ideneb v1.4 and thast only in safe boot when I try doing the normal boot it goes as far as the grey screen then it turns off and it keeps doing that until I turn it off. Luckly I have vista installed and I can communicate the status...

    What do you suggest...

Now I am stuck with three DVD's and none of them seem to be doing the trick. I have:

    iDeneb v1.4
    iDeneb v1.6
    IPC 10.5.6.

iDeneb v1.6 doesnt load at all IPC 10.5.6. only loads using VMare Player and IDeneb v1.4 is the only one that loads but cant get past the lood in safe mode with no internet access HELP!!!!!!

I been playing around and installing it again... and it will load into safe boot... when I restart I get a message on boot screen stating:

    Bad Sleep Image Header Signature
    hibernate

after 5 10 seconds notebook will turn off and it will repeat it over and over.
